A BILL
for
1 AN ACT relating to public health and safety; prohibiting
2 the manufacture, sale and distribution of cultivated meat;
3 providing definitions; providing penalties; and providing
4 for effective dates.

8. W.S. 35-7-110(a) by creating a new
9 paragraph (xxxii) and by renumbering paragraph (xxxii) as
10 (xxxiii), 35-7-111(a) by creating a new paragraph (xiv) and
11 35-7-125(a) are amended to read:

11 (a) No person shall:

18 (a) A regulatory authority may summarily suspend a
19 license to operate a food establishment if it determines
20 through consultation with a health officer, inspection,
21 examination of food, employees, records or other authorized
22 means that

1 an imminent health hazard exists
2 including, but not limited to, fire, flood, extended
3 interruption of electrical or water service, or sewage
4 backup.

6The department of agriculture shall
7 promulgate all rules necessary to implement this act.

11 (a) Except as otherwise provided by subsection (b) of
12 this section, this act is effective July 1, 2025.

14 (b) Sections 2 and 3 of this act are effective
15 immediately upon completion of all acts necessary for a
16 bill to become law as provided by Article 4, Section 8 of
17 the Wyoming Constitution.
