A BILL

1 AN ACT relating to public health and safety; prohibiting
2 the manufacture, sale and distribution of cultivated meat
3 for human consumption; providing definitions; providing
4 penalties; and providing for effective dates.

8. W.S. 35-7-110(a) by creating a new
9 paragraph (xxxii) and by renumbering paragraph (xxxii) as
10 (xxxiii), 35-7-111(a) by creating a new paragraph (xiv) and
11 35-7-125(a) are amended to read:

11 (a) No person shall:

19 (a) A regulatory authority may summarily suspend a
20 license to operate a food establishment if it determines
21 through consultation with a health officer, inspection,
22 examination of food, employees, records or other authorized

2 an imminent health
3 hazard exists including, but not limited to, fire, flood,
4 extended interruption of electrical or water service, or
5 sewage backup.

7The department of agriculture shall
8 promulgate all rules necessary to implement this act.

12 (a) Except as otherwise provided by subsection (b) of
13 this section, this act is effective July 1, 2025.
14
15 (b) Sections 2 and 3 of this act are effective
16 immediately upon completion of all acts necessary for a
17 bill to become law as provided by Article 4, Section 8 of
18 the Wyoming Constitution.
