A BILL
for
1 AN ACT relating to state lands; providing for the transfer 
2 of a specified land parcel from the department of health to 
3 the department of transportation; and providing for an 
4 effective date.

10 (a)  The department of health, in consultation with 
11 the board of land commissioners and the office of state 
12 lands and investments, is authorized and directed to convey 
13 its right, title and interest in the surface estate of the 
14 following described parcel of land in Fremont county, 
15 containing twenty-eight and ninety-four hundredths (28.94)  2025STATE OF WYOMING25LSO-06192HB0179
1 acres, more or less, held for the Wyoming state training 
2 school, to the Wyoming department of transportation: a 
3 parcel of land located in section 17, township 33 north, 
4 range 99 west, sixth principal meridian, Fremont county, 
5 Wyoming, described more particularly as follows: begin at 
6 an iron rod marking the southeasterly corner of Leda 
7 enterprise park, as per plat thereof recorded in plat book 
8 8, page 193, in the public records of Fremont county; 
9 thence north 00 degrees, 03 minutes, 48 seconds west 
10 (bearing basis), along the easterly boundary of said 
11 subdivision, for a distance of 292.53 feet to an iron rod; 
12 thence north 70 degrees, 00 minutes, 00 seconds east, along 
13 said easterly boundary, for a distance of 312.59 feet to an 
14 iron rod; thence, north 05 degrees, 00 minutes, 00 seconds 
15 west, along said easterly boundary, for a distance of 
16 486.41 feet to the southerly right-of-way line of 
17 Enterprise boulevard; thence, south 78 degrees, 51 minutes, 
18 23 seconds east, along said right-of-way line for a 
19 distance of 184.68 feet to a point, said point being on a 
20 circular curve concave to the north; thence, 
21 counterclockwise to the left, along the arc of said curve, 
22 having a radius of 90.56 feet, for an arc distance of

1 degrees, 10 minutes, 24 seconds east, 164.84 feet, to the 
2 end of said curve; thence, north 36 degrees, 19 minutes, 29 
3 seconds east, for a distance of 708.32 feet to the north 
4 line of section 17; thence, north 88 degrees, 58 minutes, 
5 31 seconds east along the north line of said section for a 
6 distance of 26.13 feet; thence, departing said section 
7 line, south 45 degrees, 44 minutes, 42 seconds east, for a 
8 distance of 257.40 feet; thence, north 43 degrees, 46 
9 minutes, 16 seconds east, for a distance of 257.74 feet to 
10 the north line of said section; thence, north 88 degrees, 
11 58 minutes, 31 seconds east, along the section line, for a 
12 distance of 262.94 feet; thence, south 22 degrees, 03 
13 minutes, 52 seconds west, for a distance of 1448.41 feet; 
14 thence, south 88 degrees, 36 minutes, 52 seconds west, for 
15 a distance of 1112.35 feet to the point of beginning.

17 (b)  The conveyance authorized in this section shall 
18 be made without impacting other rights or estates 
19 associated with the parcel or the portion thereof to be 
20 conveyed under this section and subject to easements, 
21 setbacks and restrictions of record. The remainder of the 
22 parcel located at section 17, township 33 north, range 99 
23 west, sixth principal meridian, Fremont county, Wyoming  2025STATE OF WYOMING25LSO-06194HB0179
1 that is not conveyed in this act shall be retained by the 
2 department of health for future conveyance to a 
3 municipality to be used for residential housing.

5 (c)  The conveyance authorized under this section 
6 shall be made without cost, except all costs associated 
7 with any necessary survey, title insurance and closing 
8 shall be paid by the department of transportation.  
9
10.  This act is effective immediately upon 
11 completion of all acts necessary for a bill to become law 
12 as provided by Article 4, Section 8 of the Wyoming 
13 Constitution.
