1 AN ACT relating to elections; clarifying that residence 
2 does not include a secondary address or commercial address 
3 that is not used for habitation; and providing for an 
4 effective date.

12 2025STATE OF WYOMING25LSO-05852HB01821 (a)  The definitions contained in this chapter apply 
2 to words and phrases used in this Election Code and govern 
3 the construction of those words and phrases unless they are 
4 specifically modified by the context in which they appear. 
5 As used in this Election Code:

7 (xxx)  "Residence" is the place of a person's 
8 actual habitation. The construction of this term shall be 
9 governed by the following rules:

11 (A)  Residence is the place where a person 
12 has a current habitation and to which, whenever he is 
13 absent, he has the intention of returning, provided it is 
14
15;

17.  This act is effective July 1, 2025
