A BILL
for
1 AN ACT relating to motor vehicles; authorizing persons
2 attending legislative meetings in the community or at the
3 Wyoming state capitol to park on the street for unlimited
4 periods of time; and providing for an effective date.

8. W.S. 31-5-513 is created to read:

12 (a) No ordinance or regulation enacted pursuant to
13 W.S. 31-5-109(a) or 31-5-501 shall limit the duration of
14 parking on any street as follows: 2025STATE OF WYOMING25LSO-07182HB02251
2 (i) Within the boundaries of the capitol complex
3 as defined in W.S. 9-5-101 during the period the state
4 legislature or any of its committees are actively meeting
5 at the capitol for official purposes; or

7 (ii) Within one-half (1/2) mile of the location
8 of official meetings of the state legislature, including
9 any of its committees, during the period the legislature or
10 committee is actively meeting.

12. This act is effective July 1, 2025
