1 AN ACT relating to state lands; prohibiting trespass for
2 the purpose of hunting or fishing on state-leased
3 cultivated cropland; and providing for an effective date.

7W.S. 36-2-107(b) by creating a new
8 paragraph (viii) is amended to read:

13 (b) Any person who knowingly violates any provision
14 of this subsection is guilty of a misdemeanor and shall be
15 fined not more than seven hundred fifty dollars ($750.00), 2025STATE OF WYOMING25LSO-07012HB0304
1 imprisoned for not more than six (6) months, or both. In
2 addition, any person found guilty under this section may be
3 ordered to pay restitution to the board for actual
4 pecuniary damage resulting from the illegal actions of the
5 person. Restitution may be excused if a court finds that
6 the defendant has no ability to pay. In determining the
7 amount of restitution under this subsection, the court
8 shall consider, and include as a special finding, the
9 reasonably foreseeable actual pecuniary damage that has or
10 will result from the illegal activities of the defendant.
11 Any restitution received under this subsection shall be
12 deposited into an account designated by the board for use
13 to restore the rights and property of the board. The acts
