28+2SF00771 (a) The state and its political subdivisions shall
29+2 not compel or require an employee to refer to another
30+3 employee using that employee's preferred pronouns:

32+5 (i) As a condition of continuing or commencing
33+6 employment or contracting with the state or a political
34+7 subdivision;

36+9 (ii) As a condition of receiving a grant, loan,
37+10 permit, contract, license or other benefit afforded by the
38+11 state or a political subdivision; or

40+13 (iii) Under threat of adverse action by the
41+14 state or a political subdivision, including but not limited
42+15 to an adverse employment action, exclusion, sanction or
43+16 punishment.

45+18 (b) Any person aggrieved by a violation of subsection
46+19 (a) of this section may file a civil action in any court of
47+20 competent jurisdiction against the state or any political
48+21 subdivision, and its employees acting in their official
49+22 capacities, responsible for the violation to seek

7-AN ACT relating to the administration of government;

11-Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Wyoming:
12-Section 1. W.S. 9-14-601 is created to read:
13-ARTICLE 6

15-9-14-601. Compelled speech; civil action.
16-(a) The state and its political subdivisions shall
17-not compel or require an employee to refer to another
18-employee using that employee's preferred pronouns:

21-subdivision;
