| 10 | | - | Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Wyoming: |

| 11 | | - | Section 1. W.S. 1-7-103 is created to read: |
|---|
| 12 | | - | 1-7-103. Change of venue in civil actions. |
|---|
| 13 | | - | (a) For any civil action brought in an incorrect |
|---|
| 14 | | - | venue, the district court may, on its own or upon motion of |
|---|
| 15 | | - | the parties, order the action to be transferred to a court |
|---|
| 16 | | - | that would be a proper venue. |
|---|
| 17 | | - | (b) For purposes of this section, an action timely |
|---|
| 18 | | - | filed in an incorrect venue and transferred to a proper |
|---|
| 19 | | - | venue under this section shall be deemed to be timely filed |
|---|
| 20 | | - | in the proper venue. |
|---|
| 21 | | - | (c) The supreme court may adopt rules governing |
|---|
