A BILL
for
1 AN ACT relating to marketing homemade foods; providing for
2 the sale of producer-raised, homemade meat products as
3 specified; providing a delayed effective date pending
4 certification by the governor based on federal action;
5 providing definitions; authorizing rulemaking; and
6 providing for an effective date.

10. W.S. 11-49-102(a) by creating a new
11 paragraph (xiii) and by renumbering (xiii) as (xiv) and
12 11-49-103(c)(v) by creating a new subparagraph (G) and by
13 creating new subsections (n) and (o) are amended to read:

17 (c) Transactions under this act shall:

19 (v) Not involve the sale of meat products, with
20 the following exceptions:

17 (a) Upon certification by the governor that W.S.
18 11-49-103(n), as created by section 1 of this act, is
19 effective:

21 (i) The department of agriculture may promulgate
22 any rules necessary to implement this act;
23 2025STATE OF WYOMING25LSO-04446SF01201 (ii) Producers may sell meat products
2 immediately upon certification in accordance with W.S.
3 11-49-103(n) and (o), as created by section 1 of this act.

5. This act is effective July 1, 2025.
