A BILL
for
1 AN ACT relating to the Wyoming gaming commission; providing
2 and amending definitions related to pari-mutuel rodeo
3 events; and providing for an effective date.

8 paragraphs (xxxvi) and (xxxvii) is amended to read:

14 (f) Each permittee, licensee, any current and
15 prospective employee, volunteer and contract employee of a
16 permittee or licensee and each person who has access to 2025STATE OF WYOMING25LSO-07312SF0164
1 restricted areas or animals housed on permitted event
2 grounds for horse racing or for pari-mutuel activities
3 shall be licensed by the commission and shall comply with
4 all rules and regulations and all orders issued by the
5 commission. No person shall hold any event with pari-mutuel
6 wagering without obtaining a permit. The commission may
7 require that all permittees, licensees, current and
8 prospective employees, volunteers and contract employees of
9 a permittee or licensee and each person who has access to
10 restricted areas or animals housed on permitted event
11 grounds for horse racing or for pari-mutuel activities
12 submit fingerprints to the Wyoming division of criminal
13 investigation to perform a criminal history background
14 check pursuant to W.S. 7-19-201 in order to obtain state
15 and national criminal history record information. The
16 division may share the results of the criminal history
17 background check with the commission pursuant to W.S.
18 7-19-106(a)(xxxv). For purposes of this subsection,
19 permittees, licensees, current and prospective employees,
20 volunteers and contract employees of a permittee or
21 licensee, shall include the following as defined:

2 bathes, brushes and provides general care to a race horse
