FISCAL NOTE ANALYSIS This bill would provide legislative authorizationfor the Alaska Railroad Corporation (ARRC) to sell select parcels of land to the City of Nenana. The purchase price of the property shall not be less than the fair market value as determined by a Member, Appraisal Institute (MAI)-certified appraiser retained by ARRC, in addition to any outstanding lease invoices, which shall be payable in full at closing in cash or equivalent. The fiscal impact of this legislation is shown as zero because ARRC is exempt from the Executive Budget Act and does not anticipate operating or capital budget fiscal impact from this legislation.Revenueresulting from a sale would be retained by ARRC.
