Relating to Talladega County; to amend Section 11 of Act 91-533 of the 1991 Regular Session (Acts 1991, p. 948), as last amended by Act 2019-156 of the 2019 Regular Session, to further provide for the distribution of a special county sales and use tax; and to repeal Act 2015-515 of the 2015 Regular Session, relating to the distribution of a portion of the special sales and use tax.
Relating to Macon County; to amend Section 45-44-90 of the Code of Alabama 1975, establishing the Macon County Economic Development Authority, to further provide for the operation of the authority; and to authorize the formation of a successor authority under certain conditions.
Relating to Lauderdale County, to amend Section 45-39-100, Code of Alabama 1975, to provide further for the compensation of the members and president of the county board of education; and to provide for the election and term of the president of the board.
Relating to Coffee and Pike Counties and the Twelfth Judicial Circuit; to amend Section 45-16-82.27, Code of Alabama 1975, to further provide for fees related to the pretrial diversion program; and to make nonsubstantive, technical revisions to update the existing code language to current style.
Relating to Macon County; to amend Section 45-44-90 of the Code of Alabama 1975, establishing the Macon County Economic Development Authority, to further provide for the operation of the authority; and to authorize the formation of a successor authority under certain conditions.
Relating to Talladega County; to amend Sections 1 and 3 of Act 91-522 of the 1991 Regular Session (Acts 1991, p. 923), as amended by Act 2018-101 of the 2018 Regular Session, to further provide for the employment and duties of the county engineer; and to repeal Section 2 of Act 91-522, providing for nominations to fill the position by the state highway director.
Relating to Hale County; to authorize the sheriff to establish procedures for utilizing a credit card or debit card for limited purchases provided the proper procedures are followed.
Relating to Hale County; to provide for additional minimum qualifications for individuals elected or appointed to the office of sheriff, that the individual is a U.S. citizen, has been a resident and registered voter of Hale County for one year prior to qualifying or being appointed, is a high school graduate or the equivalent, is the age of 25 or older, has three years or more of law enforcement service, has never been convicted of a felony; and to require completion of continuing education.
Relating to Macon County; to provide for the salary of the judge of probate; to ratify and confirm prior payments to the judge of probate prior to the effective date of this act; and to repeal Section 45-44-84 of the Code of Alabama 1975, relating to Macon County and the salary of the judge of probate.
Relating to the Town of Garden City in Cullman County; to amend Section 45-22-100.07 of the Code of Alabama 1975, to authorize the town council to sell a portion of the former Garden City school property without a referendum.
