10-3 To alter, rearrange, and extend the boundary lines
11-4 and corporate limits of the municipality of the Town of
12-5 Cherokee Ridge in Marshall County.
13-6 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF ALABAMA:
14-7 Section 1. The boundary lines and corporate limits
15-8 of the Town of Cherokee Ridge in Marshall County are altered,
16-9 rearranged, and extended to include within the corporate
17-10 limits of the municipality, in addition to the lands now
18-11 included, all of the following territory:
19-12 TRACT 1
20-13 A PARCEL OF LAND SITUATED IN THE NORTHEAST QUARTER
21-14 AND THE NORTHWEST QUARTER OF THE SOUTHWEST QUARTER OF SECTION
22-15 16, TOWNSHIP 7 SOUTH, RANGE 1 EAST, MARSHALL COUNTY, ALABAMA
23-16 MORE PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED AS FOLLOWS:
24-17 COMMENCING AT A FOUND 1'' OPEN TOP PIPE INDICATING
25-18 THE NORTHWEST CORNER OF SECTION 16, TOWNSHIP 7 SOUTH, RANGE 1
26-19 EAST, MARSHALL COUNTY, ALABAMA THENCE RUN SOUTH 60 DEGREES 24

68-9 concrete right of way monument. Thence leaving said right of
69-10 way North 81 degrees 36 minutes 13 seconds east 244.19 feet to
70-11 a 1/2 inch capped rebar. Thence south 01 degree 09 minutes 27
71-12 seconds west 214.20 feet to the point of beginning. Property
72-13 being in Marshall County, Alabama and containing 0.96 acres.
73-14 The property herein described comprises no part of
74-15 the homestead of the Grantor and/or his spouse.
75-16 Section 2. In accordance with Section 11-42-6(b) of
76-17 the Code of Alabama 1975, a map showing what territory is
77-18 proposed to be annexed to the Town of Cherokee Ridge is on
78-19 file in the office of the Judge of Probate in Marshall County,
79-20 Alabama, and the map is open to the inspection of the public.
80-21 Section 3. This act shall become effective on the
81-22 first day of the third month following its passage and
82-23 approval by the Governor, or its otherwise becoming law.
