14-7 Relating to the City of Geneva in Geneva County; to
15-8 authorize the governing body to provide for the sale of draft
16-9 or keg beer by retail licensees of the Alcoholic Beverage
17-10 Control Board.
18-11 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF ALABAMA:
19-12 Section 1. This act shall apply only to the City of
20-13 Geneva in Geneva County.
21-14 Section 2. The governing body of the City of Geneva,
22-15 by ordinance, may authorize the sale of draft or keg beer by
23-16 retail licensees of the Alcoholic Beverage Control Board in
24-17 the city. Any resolution or ordinance of the governing body
25-18 relating to the sale, consumption, and possession of bottled
26-19 or canned beer shall apply to draft or keg beer.
27-20 Section 3. The provisions of this act are cumulative
28-21 and supplementary and shall not be construed to repeal or
29-22 supersede any laws or parts of laws not directly inconsistent
30-23 with this act.

32-1 Section 4. This act shall become effective on the
33-2 first day of the third month following its passage and
34-3 approval by the Governor, or its otherwise becoming law.
