| 15 | 18 | Relating to Henry County; to revise the salary of the | |
| 16 | 19 | members of the Henry County Board of Education. | |
| 17 | 20 | BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF ALABAMA: | |
| 18 | 21 | Section 1. This act shall apply to Henry County. | |
| 19 | 22 | Section 2. (a) The members of the Henry County Board of | |
| 20 | 23 | Education shall be entitled to an additional expense allowance | |
| 21 | 24 | of two hundred dollars ($200) per month in addition to all | |
| 22 | 25 | other expense allowances, compensation, and salary provided by | |
| 23 | 26 | law and shall be paid from the county school system funds. | |
| 24 | 27 | (b) Beginning when the next term of office of a board | |
| 25 | 28 | member commences after the effective date of this act, the | |
| 26 | 29 | additional expense allowance provided for in subsection (a) | |
| 27 | 30 | shall be converted to a salary for all members of the board. | |
| 28 | 31 | Section 3. This act shall become effective on the first | |
| 29 | 32 | day of the third month following its passage and approval by | |
| 30 | 33 | the Governor, or its otherwise becoming law. | |
