Enrolled, An Act,
Relating to Henry County; to revise the salary of the
members of the Henry County Board of Education.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF ALABAMA:
Section 1. This act shall apply to Henry County.
Section 2. (a) The members of the Henry County Board of
Education shall be entitled to an additional expense allowance
of two hundred dollars ($200) per month in addition to all
other expense allowances, compensation, and salary provided by
law and shall be paid from the county school system funds.
(b) Beginning when the next term of office of a board
member commences after the effective date of this act, the
additional expense allowance provided for in subsection (a)
shall be converted to a salary for all members of the board.
Section 3. This act shall become effective on the first
day of the third month following its passage and approval by
the Governor, or its otherwise becoming law.
