	16	+	AN ACT
15	17		To alter, rearrange, and extend the boundary lines and
16	18		corporate limits of the Town of Brantley in Crenshaw County.
17	19		BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF ALABAMA:
18	20		Section 1. The boundary lines and corporate limits of
19	21		the Town of Brantley in Crenshaw County are altered,
20	22		rearranged, and extended to include within the corporate
21	23		limits of the municipality, in addition to the lands now
22	24		included, all of the following territory:
23	25		Begin at the Southeast corner of Section 5, Township 7
24	26		North, Range 18 East, Crenshaw County, Alabama and run thence
25	27		West along the South line of said Section 5 to the Southwest
26	28		corner of the Southeast Quarter of said Section 5; thence run
27	29		North to the Southeast corner of the Northeast Quarter of the
28	30		Southwest Quarter of said Section 5; thence run West for a
29	31		distance of 875 feet more or less to the Southwest corner of
30	32		that property as described in Deed Book 160, Page 583 (TPID
31	33		24-20-03-05-0-000-014.005); thence run North to the North
32	34		margin of Battles Road; thence run Easterly along said North
33	35		margin of Battles Road to the West line of the East Half of
34	36		the Northeast Quarter of said Section 5; thence continue East
35	37		along said North margin of Battles Road for 210 feet more or
36	38		less; thence leaving said North margin run North for 420 feet
37		-	more or less; thence run West for 210 feet more or less to
38		-	said West line of the East Half of the Northeast Quarter of
39		-	said Section 5; thence run North to the Southwest corner of

147	149		Section 2. In accordance with Section 11-42-6(b) of the
148	150		Code of Alabama 1975, a map showing the proposed territory to
149	151		be annexed to the Town of Brantley is on file and open to
150	152		public inspection in the Office of the Judge of Probate in
151		-	Crenshaw County, Alabama.
152		-	Section 3. This act shall become effective on the first
153		-	day of the third month following its passage and approval by
154		-	the Governor, or its otherwise becoming law.
