1313 HR____ MOURNING THE DEATH OF CLAUDIA MAE CRIMES ROBINSON.
1414 WHEREAS, it is with profound sadness that we note the
1515 death of Mrs. Claudia Mae Crimes Robinson; and
1616 WHEREAS, her passing leaves a void in the lives of
1717 her loving family, many friends, and the entire community
1818 where she was highly regarded; and
1919 WHEREAS, Mrs. Robinson was born on May 31, 1946, in
2020 Midway, Alabama; she was the ninth child born to the late N.
2121 Davis and O.B. Crymes; and
2222 WHEREAS, after graduating from Trenholm in 1969, she
2323 became a licensed practical nurse and began working at St.
2424 Jude Catholic Hospital in Montgomery, Alabama; and
2525 WHEREAS, Claudia married Willie "Bub" Robinson and
2626 moved to Cleveland, Ohio; during this time, she worked for
2727 St. Luke's Hospital until the birth of her daughters; and
2828 WHEREAS, upon returning to Montgomery, she accepted a
2929 job with Montgomery Food Processors, where she was a devoted
3030 employee until she became the caregiver for her mother; and
3131 WHEREAS, Claudia was a active member of Mt. Gillard
3232 Missionary Baptist Church; she had a servant's heart and was
3333 the caretaker for many children; in addition, she
3434 volunteered with the English Village Neighborhood
3535 Association, the Poet Nation Super Grands, and many other
3636 community organizations; in her spare time, she loved

6868 WHEREAS, Mrs. Robinson was preceded in death by her
6969 siblings, David Crymes, Charles Crymes, Leatha Foster,
7070 Hildred Sneed, Ola Mae Rostick, Moses Crymes, and Tommy
7171 Crymes; and
7272 WHEREAS, continuing her legacy and cherishing
7373 memories are her daughters Kimwana Robinson and Danica
7474 Taylor (Bruce); bonus daughters, Quanda Robinson and Patrice
7575 "Penni" McClammy; her grandchildren, who affectionately
7676 called her "GG", Bruce "Deuce" Taylor, II, and Jyrah Taylor;
7777 a bonus granddaughter, Triniti Brown; godson, Larry Donald
7878 Robinson, Jr.; siblings, Inell Price, Mildred Crymes, James
7979 Crymes, and Hosea Crymes (Rosie); sisters-in-law, Mary
8080 Crymes, Mary Elizabeth Shipman, and Garlee Johnson;
8181 brothers-in-law, Leon Robinson, John Robinson, and Reverend
8282 Dr. Larry Robinson (Ollie); a devoted friend and neighbor of
8383 over 40 years, Deloris Brown, and a host of other relatives
8484 and friends; now therefore,
8585 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE
8686 LEGISLATURE OF ALABAMA, That the death of Mrs. Claudia Mae
8787 Crimes Robinson is recorded with sadness and this resolution
8888 is offered in tribute to her life and with heartfelt
8989 sympathy to her family, whose grief is shared by many.
