13	13	SYNOPSIS:
14	14	This bill would exempt U.S. Department of
15	15	Defense conferences and other events held in the state
16	16	from compliance with state laws relating to public
17	17	health which conflict with a regulation, law, or
18	18	condition required by the Department of Defense for
19	19	attendance at the event.

21	21	TO BE ENTITLED
22	22	AN ACT
23	23	Relating to public health; to exempt U.S. Department of
24	24	Defense events held in the state from any state public health
25	25	law if the law conflicts with a regulation, law, or condition
26	26	required by the Department of Defense to attend the event.
27	27	BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF ALABAMA:
28	28	Section 1. Any state law relating to public health
29	29	shall not apply to any conference, convention, meeting,
30	30	symposium, exposition, or other event held in the state which
31	31	is sponsored by, or for the benefit of, the U.S. Department of
32	32	Defense, if the state law conflicts with a law, regulation, or
33	33	condition required by the Department of Defense as a condition
34	34	of attending the event.

65	65	day of the third month following its passage and approval by
66	66	the Governor, or its otherwise becoming law.
