1313 SYNOPSIS:
1414 This bill would exempt U.S. Department of
1515 Defense conferences and other events held in the state
1616 from compliance with state laws relating to public
1717 health which conflict with a regulation, law, or
1818 condition required by the Department of Defense for
1919 attendance at the event.

2323 Relating to public health; to exempt U.S. Department of
2424 Defense events held in the state from any state public health
2525 law if the law conflicts with a regulation, law, or condition
2626 required by the Department of Defense to attend the event.
2727 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF ALABAMA:
2828 Section 1. Any state law relating to public health
2929 shall not apply to any conference, convention, meeting,
3030 symposium, exposition, or other event held in the state which
3131 is sponsored by, or for the benefit of, the U.S. Department of
3232 Defense, if the state law conflicts with a law, regulation, or
3333 condition required by the Department of Defense as a condition
3434 of attending the event.
