15	15	HR____ COMMENDING ANITA WHITLOCK ON HER RETIREMENT.
16	16	WHEREAS, we take great pride and pleasure in
17	17	commending Anita Whitlock for outstanding professional
18	18	achievement on the occasion of her retirement as a teacher
19	19	at Good Hope High School in Cullman, Alabama ; and
20	20	WHEREAS, for 25 years, Anita Whitlock has been an
21	21	integral part of Good Hope High School, specializing in
22	22	English and Theater and serving as the advisor for the Youth
23	23	Literacy Leaders, an organization aimed at empowering
24	24	students by granting them a voice in their educational
25	25	journey; through this initiative she actively contributes to
26	26	various school events and awards scholarships to seniors in
27	27	recognition of their reading achievements ; and
28	28	WHEREAS, Mrs. Whitlock shines as the guiding force
29	29	behind Poetry Out Loud at her school, igniting passion in
30	30	students as she mentors them to excel in poetry recitation
31	31	at local, regional, and state levels; her students have
32	32	excelled at all levels of Poetry Out Loud culminating in a
33	33	state victory in the original poetry competition ; and
34	34	WHEREAS, Mrs. Whitlock is the epitome of relentless
35	35	dedication, ceaselessly urging her students to surpass their
36	36	limits and achieve greatness; her infectious positivity and
37	37	unwavering encouragement extend not only to her students but
38	38	also to her fellow educators; when you interact with her,

73	73	skills, Mrs. Anita Whitlock personifies the finest qualities

75	75	the noble vocation of education ; now therefore,
76	76	BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE
77	77	LEGISLATURE OF ALABAMA, That it is a distinct privilege to
