Relating to pharmacists; to amend Section 27-45A-7, Code of Alabama 1975; to authorize a pharmacist to decline to fill a prescription if the pharmacist will be reimbursed for the drug in an amount that is less than the pharmacist's acquisition cost; and to prohibit a pharmacist from being restricted from discussing matters relating to a pharmacy claim with a patient.
Relating to insurance; to limit the number of times an insurer may apply a separate deductible to a homeowner's or a commercial property owner's named storm or hurricane insurance policy.
Relating to design professionals; to add Section 41-9A-3.1 to the Code of Alabama 1975, to require an agreement with a design professional who does not have professional liability insurance coverage to disclose that fact in writing to the client, who shall sign and notarize the disclosure.
Relating to health insurance; to allow health insurers to communicate with enrollees regarding their health insurance plan or policy by electronic means.
Relating to the Mandatory Liability Insurance Act; to amend Sections 32-7A-5 and 32-7A-16, Code of Alabama 1975, to further provide for the exceptions to the act for inoperable or stored motor vehicles; to prohibit the continued operation of a motor vehicle in violation of the registration and insurance requirements.
