This bill would prohibit any county or municipality from requiring the approval of a registered architect or professional engineer on plans for the construction of a single family residence under three stories in height. A BILL TO BE ENTITLED AN ACT Relating to residential home construction; to provide that new single family residencies under three floors in height may not be required to be approved by a registered architect or licensed professional engineer. BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF ALABAMA: Section 1. Section 2.
