| 18 | 18 | | Relating to Conecuh County; to authorize the county |

| 22 | 22 | | BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF ALABAMA: |

| 23 | 23 | | Section 1. (a)(1) The Conecuh County Commission, prior |
|---|
| 24 | 24 | | to May 31, 2025, may levy and provide for the collection of an |
|---|
| 25 | 25 | | annual additional motor vehicle license and registration |
|---|
| 26 | 26 | | issuance fee in the amount of up to twelve dollars ($12) on |
|---|
| 27 | 27 | | each new registration, transfer, or renewal on any vehicle in |
|---|
| 28 | 28 | | the county commencing on June 1, 2025. |
|---|
| 29 | 29 | | (2) The fee authorized by this section may only be for |
|---|
| 30 | 30 | | one continuing annual fee of up to twelve dollars ($12). |
|---|
| 31 | 31 | | (3) The county's license issuing official shall collect |
|---|
| 32 | 32 | | the issuance fee on each new registration, transfer, or |
|---|
| 33 | 33 | | renewal on a vehicle in the county. |
|---|
| 34 | 34 | | (4) The fee shall be in addition to all other fees, |
|---|
| 35 | 35 | | taxes, or other charges provided for the license and |
|---|
| 36 | 36 | | registration of a vehicle. |

| 37 | 37 | | (b) The license issuing official, on a monthly basis, |
