There is no penalty associated with a violation of this law. This bill would provide a criminal penalty for a violation. A BILL TO BE ENTITLED AN ACT Relating to firearms; to amend Section 13A-11-95 of the Code of Alabama 1975; to establish a criminal penalty for failure to inform a law enforcement officer of one's possession of a concealed pistol or firearm under certain circumstances. BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF ALABAMA: Section 1.
