HR____ COMMENDING MINISTER BRYANT THOMPSON WOODS FOR
DIRECTING THE VOICES OF VICTORY CHOIR.
WHEREAS, the Alabama House of Representatives takes
great pride in recognizing individuals who sacrifice their
time in service of others; and
WHEREAS, Minister Bryant Thompson Woods is one of
those special individuals who never yields when carrying out
his mission: touching hearts and ministering to those who
will listen about the unfailing love of Christ Jesus; and
WHEREAS, in 2023, Minister Woods founded the Voices
of Victory Music Ministry, a choir not afraid of proclaiming
the Gospel; and
WHEREAS, in his book, Bryant Thompson Woods & Voices
of Victory Music Ministry, Minister Woods explains how his
"Granny," Callie Thompson, encouraged him to pursue this
ministry and follow God's calling; and
WHEREAS, two years later, the seed that Granny
planted has blossomed into a choir that not only connects
people through their beautiful music but reminds them of the
free gift of God's love and grace; and
WHEREAS, in a testament to Minister Woods' ministry,
Greater New Fellowship Church is honoring him on March 16,
2025; this event will be a celebration of the joy that God
provides to his children; special guests Pastor Kevin Woods,

provides to his children; special guests Pastor Kevin Woods,
Pastor Cookie Bailey, Pastor Watrilya McMillian, Kamelyn
Easley, and Taylor Rogers will be speaking; special
performances by the Temple Light Choir and the Voices of
Victory Choir will fill the church with praise and worship;
now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE
LEGISLATURE OF ALABAMA, That Minister Bryant Thompson Woods
and the Voices of Victory Choir are highly commended and
congratulated for not only providing beautiful music for our
ears, but encouragement for our souls.
