HR____ CELEBRATING THE MONTGOMERY COUNTY STREET CLEANUP
EVENT ON JUNE 15, 2025.
WHEREAS, it is with a great sense of gratitude and
appreciation that Antonio Garay, ASEZ WAO, International We
Love You Foundation, and the World Mission Society Church of
God are recognized for their outstanding generosity in
bringing together volunteers for a street cleanup event in
Montgomery, Alabama, on June 15, 2025, with the goal to
clean trash and debris from Vaughn Road, the Eastern
Boulevard, and Perry Hill Road; and
WHEREAS, Keep Alabama Beautiful, a nonprofit
organization that believes that everyone should be able to
live in a safe and clean environment, is also expected to
contribute to the efforts and send volunteers; and
WHEREAS, clean and well-maintained public spaces can
attract businesses and tourism, boost the local economy,
reduce the incidence of litter, and deter illegal dumping
and pollution that can harm public health; a cleaner
environment enhances the overall quality of life, safety,
and economic vitality, making cities such as Montgomery more
vibrant and sustainable places to live; and
WHEREAS, the support of volunteers and organizations
to assist local government officials in cleanup efforts is
vital to highlighting the need for strategic resource

vital to highlighting the need for strategic resource
allocation; and
WHEREAS, the Montgomery cleanup event will bring
together people of diverse backgrounds to work towards the
common goal of improving a shared environment; and the
stated goal of the event is to improve the morale of local
citizens in order to stop littering in Montgomery and keep
the beautiful city clean; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE
LEGISLATURE OF ALABAMA, That highest commendations and
appreciation are hereby extended to Antonio Garay, ASEZ WAO,
International We Love You Foundation, and the World Mission
Society Church of God, along with all other volunteers, for
their contributions to the cleanup effort in Montgomery on
June 15, 2025.
