HR____ CONGRATULATING JOSEPH L. JONES ON THE OCCASION OF HIS
RETIREMENT FROM THE STATE OF ALABAMA.
WHEREAS, with great pride and special pleasure, warm
congratulations are conveyed to Joseph L. Jones on the
occasion of his retirement from the State of Alabama,
effective March 1, 2025; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Jones devoted 39 years and nine months
to the state as a laborer, warehouse worker, stock clerk,
and worked his way up to supervisory supply officer; his
dedication and commitment has been an inspiration to many;
and
WHEREAS, his daughters, Kelsey Jones and Courtney
Houser, look forward to spending time with their father
during his well-earned retirement; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE
LEGISLATURE OF ALABAMA, That it is a pleasure to salute
Joseph L. Jones for a job well done after nearly four
decades of service and contributions to the State of
Alabama, and this resolution is offered to him as evidence
of our high regard and appreciation with best wishes for
continued prosperity and blessings in all future endeavors.
