2423 BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ARKANSAS: 20

2625 SECTION 1. Arkansas Code ยง 5 -73-306(3), concerning places in which 22
2726 carrying a concealed handgun is prohibited, is repealed. 23
2827 (3)(A) A building of the Arkansas Department of Transportation 24
2928 or onto grounds adjacent to a building of the Arkansas Department of 25
3029 Transportation. 26
3130 (B) However, subdivision (3)(A) of this section does not 27
3231 apply to: 28
3332 (i) A rest area or weigh station of the Arkansas 29
3433 Department of Transportation; or 30
3534 (ii) A publicly owned and maintained parking lot 31
3635 that is a publicly accessible parking lot if the licensee is carrying a 32
3736 concealed handgun in his or her motor vehicle or has left the concealed 33
3837 handgun in his or her locked and unattended motor vehicle in the publicly 34
