2725 BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ARKANSAS: 23

2927 SECTION 1. Arkansas Code Title 10, Chapter 3, Subchapter 3, is amended 25
3028 to add an additional section to read as follows: 26
3129 10-3-321. Reporting on protection and advocacy for individuals with 27
3230 developmental disabilities. 28
3331 (a) The designated Protection and Advocacy Agency for the state and 29
3432 the designated Client Assistance Program for the state shall: 30
3533 (1) Submit biannual reports to the Hospital, Medicaid, and 31
3634 Developmental Disabilities Study Subcommittee of Legislative Council and the 32
37-Governor regarding efforts to advocate for all individuals with developmental 33
38-disabilities who live in a home - and community-based setting and not a 34
39-facility; 35

49-Legislative Council at the earliest opportunity but no later than the date 5
