20	20	WHEREAS, the National FFA Organization and agricultural education 18
21	21	provide a strong foundation for the youth of America and the future of the 19
22	22	food, fiber, and natural resources system; and 20

24	24	WHEREAS, the Arkansas FFA Association officers and the National FFA 22
25	25	Organization officers serve as role models who inspire and encourage members 23
26	26	to achieve premier leadership, personal growth, and career success; and 24

28	28	WHEREAS, the Arkansas FFA Association currently has 17,503 members, 26
29	29	with 217 local chapters and 335 advisors; and 27

31	31	WHEREAS, agricultural education and the FFA ensure a steady supply of 29
32	32	young professionals to meet the growing demands in the science, business, and 30
33	33	technology of agriculture; and 31

35	35	WHEREAS, the FFA motto, "Learning to Do, Doing to Learn, Earning to 33
36	36	Live, Living to Serve", gives direction and purpose to these students who 34

48	48	BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE NINETY -FIFTH GENERAL 8
49	49	ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ARKANSAS: 9

51	51	THAT the House of Representatives recognize the importance and positive 11
52	52	work of the National FFA Organization, commend the Arkansas FFA Association 12
53	53	officers and the National FFA Organization officers for their leadership, and 13
54	54	recognize February 15 through February 22, 2025, as National FFA Week. 14

56	56	BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED THAT upon adoption of this resolution, an appropriate 16
