An Act

 

amending title 23, chapter 2, article 1, Arizona Revised Statutes, by adding section 23-207; relating to employment practices.

 Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Arizona: Section 1. Title 23, chapter 2, article 1, Arizona Revised Statutes, is amended by adding section 23-207, to read: START_STATUTE23-207. Business entity; third-party vendor; forced labor; attestation; applicability A. Notwithstanding any other law, A business entity or the business entity's third-party vendor may not sell goods in this state or to its citizens if the goods were manufactured using forced labor or slave labor.  B. Between January 1 and January 31 of each year, a corporate officer or agent of the corporate officer is required to annually sign and file an attestation under the penalty of perjury with the attorney general that the goods that will be sold are not the result of forced labor or slave labor. The filing period for the attestation may not be extended for more than thirty days. C. This section applies to a business entity and a business entity's third-party vendor that sell products online or at a physical location and that: 1. Have gross receipts of at least $25,000,000.  2. Import products or parts of products from other countries or enter into labor contracts or employ persons outside the United States. END_STATUTE 

Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Arizona:

Section 1. Title 23, chapter 2, article 1, Arizona Revised Statutes, is amended by adding section 23-207, to read:

START_STATUTE23-207. Business entity; third-party vendor; forced labor; attestation; applicability

A. Notwithstanding any other law, A business entity or the business entity's third-party vendor may not sell goods in this state or to its citizens if the goods were manufactured using forced labor or slave labor. 

B.
