Title 40, chapter 1, article 1, Arizona Revised Statutes, is amended by adding section 40-104, to read: START_STATUTE40-104. Employment; commissioners; employees of commission prohibitions A. An entity that is regulated by the commission may not employ or enter into an independent contractor agreement with an individual who in the preceding four calendar years served as a commissioner or was an employee or independent contractor of the commission. B. The commission may not employ or enter into an independent contractor agreement with an individual who in the preceding two calendar years was an employee or independent contractor of an entity that is regulated by the commission.
