The bill would also require the local academic senate of a campus of the California State University or of a campus of the California Community Colleges, and would request the local academic senate of a campus of the University of California, to make the demographic data of its members, including on the gender and race or ethnicity, as specified, ethnicity of its members available to the public upon request. To the extent that these provisions would create new duties for community college districts, the bill would impose a state-mandated local program.The California Constitution requires the state to reimburse local agencies and school districts for certain costs mandated by the state.
