Existing law establishes community college districts throughout the state, and authorizes them to provide instruction to students at the campuses they operate.Existing law authorizes community colleges to grant associate in arts and associate in science degrees. Existing law authorizes the governing boards of community college districts maintaining adult schools to prescribe requirements for the granting of adult school diplomas.
