Voter qualifications: residence and domicile.Existing law describes the domicile of a person for voting purposes as that place in which the persons habitation is fixed, wherein the person has the intention of remaining, and to which, whenever the person is absent, the person has the intention of returning. Existing law provides that the place where a persons family is domiciled is the persons domicile, except as specified. Existing law provides that if a person has a family fixed in one place, and the person does business in another place, the former is the persons place of domicile.
