Debs Regional Park, El Pueblo de Los Angeles Historical Monument, Eaton Canyon in East Pasadena, the Rose Bowl, Hahamongna Watershed Park, and the Jet Propulsion Laboratory; and WHEREAS, House Resolution 1708 would make the National Park Service responsible for managing additional lands, including trail building, wildlife studies, and recreation planning and protection of natural resources, including mountain lions that are dying from being hit by cars on U.S. Highway 101 or by rodenticide poisoning; now, therefore be itResolved by the Assembly and the Senate of the State of California, jointly, That the Legislature urges the 116th Congress of the United States to enact House Resolution 1708; and be it furtherResolved, That the Chief Clerk of the Assembly transmit copies of this resolution to the President and Vice President of the United States, to the Speaker of the House of Representatives, to the Majority Leader of the Senate, and to each Senator and Representative from California in the Congress of the United States.
