(a) The Legislature hereby encourages the Governor to appoint a special adviser on artificial intelligence to coordinate with state agencies, local governments, and the federal government in order to devise a statewide strategic plan to utilize artificial intelligence to improve state services.(b) The strategic plan should evaluate, among other things, all of the following:(1) The potential effects of utilizing artificial intelligence to improve state services on the job responsibilities of state employees.(2) How to mitigate the impacts of utilizing artificial intelligence to improve state services on state employees.(3) The impact of utilizing artificial intelligence to improve state services on the privacy of citizens of this state.12897.2.
