The addendum shall provide updates when the science is no longer valid or is in need of further development. The state board shall consider updates, including, but not limited to, on potential health effects from ozone-emitting consumer products, natural gas sources, and indoor sources of per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS). The addendum shall be prepared in compliance with the consultation requirement in subdivision (a) of Section 39930 and the external scientific review requirement in subdivision (c) of Section 39930.(b) Implementation of this section is contingent upon an appropriation by the Legislature in the annual Budget Act or another statute for this purpose.(c) The addendum described in subdivision (a) shall be submitted to the Legislature in accordance with Section 9795 of the Government Code.(d) Pursuant to Section 10231.5 of the Government Code, this section is repealed on January 1, 2028. 2029.

The bill would repeal these provisions on January 1, 2028. 2029.
