Summary of  
Fiscal Impact: 
No fiscal impact.  This bill replaces references to the federal food and drug 
administration in the Colorado Health Care Coverage Act with the term “FDA”. The bill 
has no impact on state or local government revenue or expenditures, so is assessed 
as having no fiscal impact.

No appropriation required.

Status: 
The fiscal note reflects the introduced bill, which was recommended by the Statutory 
Revision Committee. 
Summary of Legislation 
The bill replaces references to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration with the term “FDA” in the 
Colorado Health Care Coverage Act. 
Assessment of No Fiscal Impact 
The bill simplifies statutory language and does not affect the revenue or expenditures for any agency 
of state or local government; therefore, the bill is assessed as having no fiscal impact. 
Effective Date 
The bill takes effect 90 days following adjournment of the General Assembly sine die, assuming no 
referendum petition is filed.
