The fiscal note reflects the enacted bill.
Summary of Legislation
The bill authorizes History Colorado to sell three properties in Central City, Denver, and Pueblo. The
sales are subject to approval by the Capital Development Committee and the State Controller. The
proceeds of any sale are credited to the State Museum Cash Fund to be used for a consolidated
collections care facility or for controlled maintenance expenditures.
State Revenue
The disposition of real property, assumed to take place in FY 2023-24, will increase revenue to the
State Museum Cash Fund. This revenue depends on future terms of sale and has not been estimated.
State Expenditures
The approval of any sales will minimally increase workload in the Legislative Department and the
Department of Personnel and Administration. No change in appropriations is required.

Any expenditure from the State Museum Cash Fund for the purposes allowed by the bill will be
addressed through the annual budget process. Page 2
