SENATE BILL 25-231 BY SENATOR(S) Amabile and Kirkmeyer, Bridges; also REPRESENTATIVE(S) Bird and Sirota, Taggart. C ONCERNING THE REPEAL OF THE "INCLUSIVE HIGHER EDUCATION ACT", AND, IN CONNECTION THEREWITH, DECREASING AN APPROPRIATION. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of Colorado: SECTION 1. In Colorado Revised Statutes, repeal article 80 of title 23. SECTION 2. Appropriation - adjustments to 2025 long bill. To implement this act, the general fund appropriation made in the annual general appropriation act for the 2025-26 state fiscal year to the department of higher education for use by the Colorado commission on higher education and higher education special purpose programs for the inclusive higher education grant program is decreased by $450,000. SECTION 3. Effective date. This act takes effect July 1, 2025. SECTION 4. Safety clause.
