22	22		Joint Budget Committee. The bill requires the state treasurer to
23	23		transfer the following amounts from the license plate cash fund (fund) on
24	24		June 30, 2025:
25	25		! 40% of the unexpended and unencumbered balance of the
26	26		fund to the general fund; and

43	40		SECTION 1. In Colorado Revised Statutes, 42-3-301, add (1)(c)2

58	55		HIS SUBSECTION (1)(c) IS REPEALED, EFFECTIVE JULY 1, 2026.13
59	56		SECTION 2. Safety clause. The general assembly finds,14
60	57		determines, and declares that this act is necessary for the immediate15
61	58		preservation of the public peace, health, or safety or for appropriations for16
62	59		the support and maintenance of the departments of the state and state17
63	60		institutions.18
