2424 AN ACT CONCERNING CONSTABLES AND THE CONNECTICUT STATE POLICE RESIDENT TROOPER PROGRAM.

2626 Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

2828 Section 1. (NEW) (Effective from passage) In the event of any conflict between (1) the provisions of the Connecticut Resident Trooper Administration and Operations Manual of the Department of Public Safety, where said manual has been signed by a constable who is under the supervision of the Division of State Police within the Department of Public Safety, and (2) the provisions of a collective bargaining agreement between the collective bargaining unit such constable is a part of and a town, such collective bargaining agreement shall take precedence.
