27 | 27 | That subdivision (1) of subsection (b) of section 54-36a of the general statutes be amended to provide that when a law enforcement agency seizes stolen property in connection with a criminal arrest or pursuant to a search warrant, the filing of an inventory is not required and the property may be returned to the owner if the value of the property does not exceed five hundred dollars, rather than two hundred fifty dollars. | |
