AN ACT CONCERNING THE EMPLOYMENT OF FORMER STATE EMPLOYEES BY REGULATED INDUSTRIES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That section 1-84b of the general statutes be amended to permit any former state manager who was laid off from state employment to be employed by an industry regulated by the agency that previously employed such manager, provided such offer of employment is accepted not earlier than six months after such manager is laid off.
Statement of Purpose:
To modify the state's "revolving door" law to allow state managers who are laid off to be employed by regulated industries.
