2929 AN ACT CONCERNING THE IMPACT OF LEGISLATION ON JOBS AND THE ECONOMY.

3131 Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

3333 That the general statutes be amended to require at least ten bills reported favorably out of the joint standing committee of the General Assembly having cognizance of matters relating to finance, revenue and bonding during the 2011 to 2013 sessions be accompanied by a jobs impact statement that (1) estimates the effect of the bill on employment in the state, including the gain or loss of jobs, and (2) is prepared by the Office of Fiscal Analysis, in consultation with the Department of Economic and Community Development, using the REMI model.
