23 | 23 | Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened: | |

25 | 25 | That the general statutes be amended to provide that if a municipality acquires property by eminent domain for a public use and does not use the real property for the purpose for which it was acquired or for some other public use and the municipality seeks to sell the property, the municipality shall first offer the real property for sale to the person from whom the property was acquired, or the person's heir, in the same manner as currently provided for acquisitions for redevelopment and economic development purposes. | |
