2424 AN ACT CONCERNING THE DEPARTMENT OF ECONOMIC AND COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT AND STATE SERVICES FOR SMALL BUSINESSES.

2626 Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

(NEW) (Effective from passage) Not later than January 1, 2012, the Commissioner of Economic and Community Development shall, within existing budgetary resources, establish a business cultivation and facilitation program. Such program shall require a commissioner's designee to work directly with businesses to assess each individual business's needs, identify available resources and state financial incentive programs available to such business, and facilitate the provision of available state services to such business.
