AN ACT CONCERNING TEMPORARY CHANGES TO THE PREVAILING WAGE THRESHOLD.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

That section 31-53 of the general statutes be amended to raise the threshold amount for prevailing wage projects to four hundred thousand dollars for renovations and one million dollars for new projects for all contracts entered between the effective date of this act and January 1, 2015.

Statement of Purpose: 

To temporarily increase the prevailing wage thresholds until January 1, 2015 to provide relief for government capital projects.
