AN ACT CONCERNING THE MANUFACTURING AND DISPENSING OF WINE BY INSTITUTIONS OF HIGHER EDUCATION AS PART OF AN ACADEMIC COURSE.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

That the general statutes be amended to allow an institution of higher education to manufacture or dispense wine as part of an academic course in a curriculum established, approved by and under the control of an accredited institution of higher education and located on the premises of such accredited institution.

Statement of Purpose: 

To allow an institution of higher education to manufacture or dispense wine at wine tasting and wine education classes.
